Celebrate the Year of the Horse
Kingsway is proud to host the Lunar New Year Festival on February 14, 2026 from 11 am to 5 pm, in partnership with the Chinese Graduates Association of Alberta.
The festival includes a comprehensive program of family-friendly performances, games, workshops, and more throughout Kingsway.

Lion Dance Parade
The lion dance is a traditional Chinese performance that occurs during Lunar New Year and other festivals, believed to bring good luck, prosperity, and drive away evil spirits for the upcoming year. The dance features performers dressed as lions, accompanied by the sound of drums, cymbals, and gongs.
